Photo and pet contests

Use the direct image or entrant page and the current round. Some galleries count each photograph separately; others combine support for one entrant. A reaction on a social post may not count as an official ballot.

Public-choice awards can be separate from jury prizes. Read the photo contest guide before preparing your request.

Business and readers’ choice awards

Confirm the business name, location, category and stage. Nominations and final votes may be different actions. Voter eligibility can also be limited to a region or country.

Readers’ choice voting explained covers a practical customer-facing request.

Sports, talent and public-choice polls

Include the exact athlete, performer or nominee and the voting window. Player of the week, goal and save awards can use different ballots and methods. Live talent votes may also combine an audience score with judges.

Use the weekly sports voting guide for the link, deadline and supporter instructions.

Single-click and account-free voting

A simple-looking ballot may still enforce a limit per eligible person, account or other identifier. One visible button does not mean unlimited voting is permitted. Include the rules and any confirmation step when requesting a quote.

Email verification and registration

Some organisers require an email confirmation or a registered account before a vote counts. Others use a security check. These are separate from the service quantity, and the quoted scope must explain the permitted participation.

Never share passwords, login codes or verification links with a provider. Eligible voters must follow the organiser’s requirements.

Daily votes, donation votes and round resets

A daily allowance is not the same as a one-vote final ballot. Donation votes use the organiser’s official payment route and may include restrictions on who can fund them. Some competitions reset the count at each new round.

Compare current counts from the same round only. An outside service payment is not an official donation, and a previous round’s total should not be used as today’s target.

Ratings, percentages and judging

A percentage alone does not reveal the vote gap without a reliable total. Ratings and mixed jury/public results need their own scoring explanation. The vote estimator uses raw counts and explicit assumptions; it does not predict these other outcomes.

Send the entry and rules for a quote if you are unsure. Listing a format here is not a promise that every contest using it can be supported.
